LDN889 Dark Nebula in Cygnus

Dark nebula LDN 889, This dark dust cloud obscures the light from the red emission nebula (IC 1318, also known as the Butterfly nebula) behind it. The dust cloud is about 20 light years thick. The whole complex lies in the centre of the Cygnus constellation.
