IC1848 The Walking Man

IC 1848, also known as “The Soul Nebula, ”The nebula is about 100 light-years across in size. It is often associated with the Heart Nebula (IC 1805) - another famous object which is located 2.5 degrees away in the sky. These two regions are connected by a bridge of material and are illuminated by stars that are only about a million years old. These are mere toddlers when compared to our Sun, which is estimated to be approximately 5 billion years old.
